As you know Gill I love this painting, having seen the way it developed and how you changed and improved it even more, with shadings and patterns, until you were happy with it. It is so cheerful!
I live near Carcassone, SW France with my husband, and 2 of my 3 wonderful children, 2 dogs, a cat and a handful of chickens. In 2001 we left my husbands family farm in Hertfordshire UK in search of adventure and bought a "project" on a Mediterranean hillside with panoramic views of l'vixiege valley and the magical Pyrennees. For the next 4 years we renovated the buildings converting them into holiday gites and a home for ourselves. Once completed, my family set to, and made me a studio so that I could return to my passion of painting - hooray!
I love working with mixed media, and am inspired to paint every day.
